Here's the fastest way to get audio playing on your store.
1. Open the Upload Track wizard
From the Dashboard or Library, click Upload Track. This opens a short, 4-step wizard.
2. Choose where the player shows up
Pick one:
- All Pages — a floating player that follows customers around your whole site
- Homepage
- Product — pick the specific product
- General Page — pick the specific page
- Blog Post — pick the specific post
3. Add your track
Three ways to add audio:
- Upload files — drag and drop an MP3 or WAV, up to 50 MB
- URL — paste a link to an audio file and we'll fetch it
- Library — reuse a track you've already uploaded
You can trim the clip right in the wizard if you only want part of the file to play.
4. Turn on the player
Click through to the Shopify Theme Editor — the wizard deep-links you straight to the right page — and turn on the app block. That's it, it's live.
5. You're done
The last step confirms everything is set up, with a link back to your Dashboard.
Your progress is saved automatically, so if you get pulled away mid-setup, you can pick up right where you left off.
